Anelakai Adventures provides Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe, Stand Up Paddle Board, and Kayak Adventures on the west coast of the Big Island. Our goal is to share and promote the history and culture of Hawaii, as well as water safety and ocean awareness. In the near future we will include Hawaiian Sailing Canoe and Hawaiian Double Hull Sailing Canoe Adventures as well.
Location
The adventures can vary depending on ocean conditions as well as what the focus of the activity is (canoe, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, etc.)
Experience
Will be customized for each individual, or group of individuals, based on physical ability and focus of the adventures, whether the goal is to look for sea life, get exercise, or simply holo holo.
The stand up paddle board experience is typically kept within a protected bay area, unless all individuals in a group are very physically fit and experienced paddlers. Outrigger Canoe and Kayak Adventures allow for longer distances, and are well suited to families with children. A combination of the two is a lot of fun as well, and is great for larger groups.
